In maritime and industrial storage systems, cover sealing is critical for the safe transport and protection of liquid and gas cargoes. Tank and Hatch Cover Gaskets are specially designed to prevent leaks even under the most challenging chemical gases, petroleum products, and aggressive fluids, functioning as a fully sealed gasket on covers thanks to their structural flexibility.
The inner core features a custom-manufactured EPDM or Nitrile cord o-ring, over which a fiberglass yarn impregnated with special oils is braided, and the outer layer is reinforced with pure PTFE (Teflon) thread. This multi-layer hybrid structure provides the gasket with both high mechanical resistance and superior flexibility.
